Gia-Lai & Viet-Long’s Wedding

I had the pleasure of taking photos of my fellow hokies Gia-Lai and Viet, making their commitment to one another.  Congrats!

This Vietnamese wedding was a bit different than most since the groom’s family was not from the area.  To make it easier for everyone they rented out a community center space to hold the tea ceremony.  This made it easier for us since there will only be one location we needed to be at.  Yes the simple things makes our job easier.  It also helped that the place was nicely decorated with plenty of lights, greenery, and even some flowers to make add a splash of color.  Everything went well without a hitch.

After quickly grabbing a bite to eat and having the bride and groom rush to get changed for their church ceremony, we all dashed out the door to the next venue.  The church was beautifully lit and everything was on a tight time line, one wedding done, another one was just waiting outside for their turn.  Felt almost like an assembly line but it wedding season!

With the rush rush of weddings I was able to squeeze in some nice family photos and let everyone go rest and prepare for the evening reception at Fortune.

All in all we had a great time and was happy to have our fellow hokies get hitched!  Congrats!
